What Happened to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders from Netflix’s ‘America’s Sweethearts’?

Netflix’s documentary series ‘America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ introduced us to the rigorous process of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader (DCC). While some hopefuls didn’t make the final squad, they’ve found success in other areas.

Charly Barby

Charly Barby, known for her ballet skills and striking red hair, was one of the final cuts. Despite not making the squad, she returned to Dallas and is training for another chance this year. She continues to share her dance routines on social media and remains close friends with fellow rookie Reece Allman.

Anisha Kurukulasuriya

Anisha Kurukulasuriya, who impressed with her Bollywood solo, now lives in Los Angeles as a professional dancer and orthodontist. After her DCC experience, she continues to teach Bollyfusion dance and practices dentistry full-time.

Ari McClure

Ari McClure, a former Lakers dancer, didn’t make the DCC squad due to her height. However, she has since joined the Miami Dolphins cheerleading team and works as an account executive for Hoop5 Networks.

Kelly Villares

Kelly Villares, with a rich background in various dance styles, also returned for another shot at the DCC squad. She remains determined and grateful for the opportunity, and has become close friends with other candidates like Charly.

These women have shown resilience and determination, finding new paths to success while continuing to pursue their passion for dance.
